It works great. I love this latex, it's super tough shit.

This is me with the mask cut to fit my face... It is not glued on, so there might be a bit of looseness around the jaw line. I just pressed it on a bit to make it stick temporarily for this picture. I can't wait till it gets painted.

I have more latex cureing in the molds for duplicates, so if anyone is interested in painting one let me know. I would love to see what people can come up with.

I am commenting late but you mentioned that you made copies for others to paint? Was that correct, if so then I would be willing to give it a shot!! What paint is good for latex?

I do have the mold still intact. and I can make copies of it to sell. Do you want it to be trimmed (eyes cut and such) or just fresh from the mold??

as for painting the latex, you need to use a latex based paint so that is doesn't crack or peel off when it dries.
I make my own paints by mixing some acrylic paints into the liquid latex. it works really well.

Oh YEAH! I"m familiar with the Cementex company in NYC. I've got several of their catalogs and they're really impressive. They give lots of very useful instructions on how to use Cementex products. The #80 mold-making latex is very well-known for being a high-quality product.
I'll delve into your website very shortly.

Very nice work. I never would've guessed that it wasn't glued on. Is this foam latex or just plain old casting latex? You say that this latex is "super tough shit." Wouldn't mind saying what brand it is, would 'ja.
I totally enjoy your work.
